Join the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and the The AfriChild Centre for a virtual book launch event on Wednesday, February 16 from 10-11 am (US CST) / (8-9 pm in Kampala). The event will feature a discussion with co-editors Dr. Fred Ssewamala, Dr. Ozge Sensoy Bahar, and Vice Provost Mary McKay, along with chapter authors, Alice Boateng, PhD, Abdallah Ibrahim, PhD, Agatha Kafuko, MA, Muthoni Mathai, PhD, Celestin Mutuyimana, MSc, and Hadiza Osuji, PhD, on the development of the groundbreaking book “Child Behavioral Health in Sub-Saharan Africa: Towards Evidence Generation and Policy Development”.

Authors from the Global South and Co-editors Professors Ssewamala, Sensoy Bahar, and McKay examine evidence-based culturally appropriate child and adolescent behavioral health research from Sub-Saharan Africa.

Speakers will share insights on how to advance child and behavioral health in policy, research, and practice in Sub-Sharan Africa.
